Does waxing hurt?

It is less painful than waxing with the fabric/paper strips or with soft wax because hard wax adheres to the hair only(not the skin!), and fact is pain tolerance varies by person, so what might be too much for some is barely noticeable for others.

Glad you asked! We strongly recommend that you DO NOT start from the most sensitive areas like pubic area as sensitive areas are pain-prone areas. Meanwhile, opt for a body part that’s reachable with two hands and is easy for you to see, e.g., LEGS.

I wanted to set my wax heater at 155°F but it just heated up & up and wouldn’t stop.

Hey, we understand this must be confusing. But please do not worry. The warmer is designated to heat all the way up so as to fully melt the wax beads and then it’ll bring itself back to the temp you set it to.
